Regina Pinto, Ph.D. PSY19582
CEO
I am a licensed psychologist with more than 25 years of clinical experience helping individuals and families navigate complex psychological stressors. She earned her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Southern California and has extensive experience in program management, program development, and the administration of large outpatient mental health centers.
My clinical expertise includes skills-based treatments such as trauma-informed care, family systems therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions to guide clients toward meaningful change. Throughout my career, I have worked with a diverse range of clients, specializing in severe and persistent mental illness, trauma recovery, depression, anxiety, and relationship dynamics. I use a collaborative, client-centered approach that blends evidence-based practices—including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing. I believe lasting change occurs by fostering holistic healing of the mind, body, and soul.
In addition to my clinical work, I am dedicated to advancing the field of mental health through supervision and mentorship. I provide thoughtful guidance and support to clinicians as they develop their professional skills and identities, creating environments where practitioners can thrive and grow.
Meet Our Clinicians

Gillian Burkette, LMFT 130886
Clinical Supervisor/Therapist
As an LMFT, I specialize in working with couples to strengthen emotional connection, and navigate conflict in healthier ways. I also support individuals dealing with mood-related challenges, developing practical tools to manage overwhelming thoughts and emotions.
I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)—an evidence-based, goal-oriented approach that helps you understand and change patterns that may be keeping you stuck. However, I strongly believe that the therapy relationship is the foundation for positive change and I adapt my approach and therapeutic style to meet individual needs and preferences.

Clinical Therapist
Supervised by Regina Pinto PSY19582
As a therapist, my goal is to deeply understand your unique world and the experiences that have shaped you. I believe you are the expert of your own life, and I draw on Emotionally Focused Therapy to help bring clarity to the emotions and patterns that influence your relationships with yourself and others. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you can reflect, grow, and explore new possibilities. My approach weaves together insights from attachment theory, Internal Family Systems, solution-focused strategies, emotion-focused work, and strengths-based perspectives to help you navigate challenges and move toward the life you want.
I work from a systemic perspective with clients facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, substance use, ADHD, career uncertainty, and relationship challenges of all kinds.
I hold a Master’s degree in Couples and Family Therapy from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University, Sacramento. I am currently a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #142494) in the state of California. Much of my clinical experience has been gained in a group practice setting, where I supported individuals and couples as they worked through diverse challenges and transitions in life.
